“CA course” is more than enough for giving goosebumps to the students. CA course is an initiative of ICAI, ICAI conducts CA exams all over India.  If a student is from a non-commerce background then the student needs to clear 12th with a minimum of 50%  marks for registration in the CA course, where students with commerce background don’t need any minimum marks on the 12th.

After registering, the CA course students have to go through three levels of exams, each level of exams has its own syllabus, exam pattern and passing criteria. CA foundation is the first exam of CA course after 12th, after clearing CA foundation students can proceed for the CA intermediate and after clearing CA intermediate both groups students can step into the CA final exam.

Without knowing the registration dates and exams dates CA students aren’t able to start their preparations for the CA course. So for all CA students we share registration dates and exam dates for CA courses to know the exact duration of CA course after 12th results.

Duration of CA course after 10-

Before 2007 students were eligible for registration in CPT, but after forming the CA foundation exam students only can register themself after 12th. But if some students want to register in the CA course after 10th then they have to wait for 6.5 years. 

Below I will share details of the CA course after 10th-

Duration of CA course after 12th-

Most of the 12th students want to pursue their career as a professional chartered accountant after 12th. For clearing the entire CA course students have to invest 4.5 years after 12th. 

Details of years for the CA course as follows.

  • If a student enrolled in CA foundation after then it will take four months from registration to the CA foundation exam. 
  • After clearing the CA foundation exam ICAI will give eight-month to CA students.
  • After clearing the CA foundation and CA intermediate both groups students have to take three years of practical training in any registered CA firm. 
  • The duration of the CA course after 12th is four years and five months. 
  • Duration of CA course after graduation-

ICAI has a direct entry scheme for students who register themself in the CA course after graduation or post-graduation. Means of ICAI direct entry scheme that students of graduation and post-graduation don’t need to clear the CA foundation exam for registration in CA intermediate exam, they can directly enroll themself in CA intermediate. But ICAI has only one condition for direct entry scheme for graduation and postgraduate students: that students should clear graduation or post-graduation with a minimum of 50% marks. The total duration of the CA course after graduation is three years and five months. 

Duration of Details of CA course after graduation- 

  • After clearing graduation or post-graduation students have to invest ten months. Students have to go through one-month training of ICITSS after registering themself in ICAI direct scheme. After completing one-month training students need to register themself for nine months’ training of articleship. So this is the calculation of students 10 months in which they are invested in the CA course after graduation or post-graduation. 
  • After clearing CA intermediate exam students have to wait for two years and eight months. In two years and eight months, students have to complete two years and three months in the articleship program and the remaining eight months have to wait for CA final exams.  
  • Above I have provided details of  three years and six months, which is divided is in( (10 months+ 2 years+8 month)  

Fees for CA course-

There are three exams in the entire CA course. First is CA foundation, second CA intermediate and third is CA final, apart from the exams students have to enroll themself in some practical training and these training are paid training.

Below in this article, I will share complete details of fees of the CA course including practical training fees.   

-Fees for CA foundation –

Every year in the months of June and December ICAI opens registration for the CA foundation. 9,800 is total fees for the CA foundation including registration fees, journal membership fees, and exam fees.

-Fees for CA intermediate-

-Fees for CA final-

 According to the name “CA final” is the final exam of the CA course. After clearing all the exams CA students appear in the CA final.

FAQ-

Question-What are the fees for rechecking?  

Answer-students need to pay 100 RS for per answer sheet and 500 for making any changes in the mark sheet.
Question-CA foundation registration fees are refundable? 

Answer- No, the fees of the CA foundation are not refundable.

Question- registration fees of the CA foundation? 

Answer- ICAI will charge 9,000 RS for CA foundation registration.

Question- fees for CA intermediate? 

Answer- 15,000 for both groups and 11,000 for a single group i.e it’s first group or second.
